In a joint effort to strengthen business competitiveness in Colombia, Francisco Augusto Giussepe Rossi Buenaventura, director of Invima, and William Bruce Mac Master Rojas, president of the National Association of Businessmen of Colombia (ANDI), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement, which will be implemented for three years, aims to simplify procedures, modernize information systems and facilitate the trade of products under inspection, surveillance and control of Invima. This collaboration seeks not only to boost competitiveness, but also to facilitate the work of companies of all sizes, moving towards pro-competitive regulation.
ANDI President William Bruce Mac Master Rojas highlighted the importance of the agreement, noting that it establishes a clear path to build competitiveness in various sectors, including food, cosmetics, the pharmaceutical industry and agribusiness. Key actions include trade facilitation, the use of information technologies for health management, the adoption of international best practices and the simplification of procedures. This agreement marks a significant step towards the goal of positioning Colombia as the most competitive country in Latin America in terms of business and industrial growth, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship with a focus on social and sustainable development.
